I wrote this three years ago today when I visited Myrtle Beach. The waves brought this poem out of my creativity.
Oh what thrashing waters crash down with no repent.
Long are the dogged days ceaselessly spent
Waiting for whispering words to be truly answered with no relent,
Windswept hopes wonderfully wrapped up in timeless tides from a gallant gent.
The seminal sea holds the mystical message – what is groundbreakingly and sincerely meant.
Will the white capped, thundering waves find peace to be sent?
Only the precious patience of the longing love may assent
As she hungrily awaits for the riotous wind to painlessly die away and finally provide her with serene content.
